| RVAS is an all volunteer based organization, with many people devoting full time and part time to saving lives. We rely heavily on reliable volunteers who love animals and want to join our organization to assist us with the many programs we have in place to make the world a better place for animals through education, awareness and of course, kindness and love.
Before joining our team, you need to attend an orientation. Here you will learn about the many volunteer opportunities we have, a history of our organization and our plans for the future.
To view some of the volunteer opportunities currently scheduled visit our volunteer opportunities list. Please note that our calendar is constantly being updated as opportunities come forward. Check back often to increase your partcipation level.
If you would like to see some of the events coming up, please go to our calendar! |
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
We ask that every volunteer attend a volunteer orientation before officially becoming a part of our team. We hold orientations once a month, where you will learn about our organization and how we are preparing for the future.
Because space is limited, we ask that you pre-register (it's free) via email or by calling 515.577.1745. If for any reason you are unable to attend the orientation after you register, please notify us immediately. |
