Down in Quinlan, Texas a wonderful dog named Skidboot, forever changed one man's life!
Skidboot was kicked by a horse in his early years, which caused him to slowly lose his sight. But, despite his blindness, he toured with his Human friend, David, sharing his message with humans all over the country.
On March 25, 2007 Skidboot crossed the rainbow bridge, but his legacy lives on. David & Barbara Hartwig are asking that everyone's life who was touched by Skidboot's story remember him by donating to their local Animal Welfare Organization.
RVAS is proud to have connected with Skidboot's owners Barbara & David Hartwig one year ago promoting his message and sharing his story. The Hartwig's encourage anyone inspired by Skidboot's life to contribute to their local shelter or rescue. If his story touches your heart, won't you consider a memorial donation in Skidboot's name to RVAS? |

Despite Skidboot's blindness, he continued to tour, teaching children and adults the power of love. Your donation will help fund our educational and special needs programs so that we too, may have our own success stories, like Skidboot's. |
